Recently, the opening ceremony of the Camel Group North American Automotive Battery Plant was grandly held at the plant in Butter Creek, Michigan, USA. Xia Shizhong, CEO of Camel Group, and Liu Zhili, Board Director of Camel Group, attended the grand opening ceremony. After the ceremony, the guests and all colleagues visited the first flooded battery production line and witnessed the production of the first qualified battery.
The Battery Plant's first phase includes flooded battery formation and packaging production lines, along with AGM battery formation and packaging lines. With the launch of this plant, Camel transits from an overseas supplier to a local battery manufacturer in the United States. This step is crucial for Camel Group's international strategic layout and significantly enhances local competitiveness.
In the afternoon, the factory organized a symposium. Everyone spoke freely, actively expressed their opinions on the stage, and exchanged ideas and experiences in cultural differences between China and the United States and language communication. President Xia Shizhong affirmed the achievements of American companies in localization in recent years. As a foreign company developing in the United States, it must not only respect the cultural value of its own nation, but also respect American culture, and accept differences. It is hoped that local integration will be further strengthened in the future, dare to use local people, make good use of local resources, and become the real vanguard of internationalization and localization of Camel Group.
Since the factory infrastructure construction started on August 8, 2022, the battery plant project has lasted nearly ten months, from anti-corrosion floor laying to equipment installation, from spare parts procurement to equipment commissioning, the project has gone through epidemic control, shipping difficulties, and post-epidemic stage circulation Influenced by expansion, shortage of labor, severe shortage of materials, etc., the project team members worked together to overcome the difficulties. It is precisely because everyone is not afraid of hardships and rises to the difficulties that the groundbreaking ceremony can be held smoothly today.
