On the afternoon of April 26, the Malaysia - China (Guangxi) Investment Forum and the celebration
of the 10th anniversary of the construction of "two countries, two parks" between China and Malaysia,
jointly sponsored by the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Ministry of
international trade and industry of Malaysia, was held in Nanning.
With the theme of "two countries and two parks: jointly welcoming RCEP, opening up the market
and building a cross-border industrial chain", the forum was held in a combination of online and
offline. Nearly 1000 enterprises and business associations from China and Malaysia participated
in the forum.
Sheng Qiuping, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China, Lin Wanfeng, Deputy Minister of
international trade and industry of Malaysia, Cai Lixin, executive vice chairman of Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region and other leaders attended the forum and delivered speeches. They proposed
that the 10th anniversary of the "two countries and two parks" between China and Malaysia is an
important milestone in bilateral economic cooperation. They hope that in the future, China and
Malaysia can establish a closer business partnership, continue to deepen bilateral industrial
cooperation, build characteristic industrial clusters and write a new chapter of China Malaysia
friendly cooperation.
As the representative of the enterprises settled in the industrial park, Camel Power (Malaysia)
Co., Ltd. participated in the 10th anniversary development effectiveness exhibition and
shared its experience in the forum.
In the theme promotion link, Xue Shihua, director of Camel Power (Malaysia) Co., Ltd., introduced
the situation of Camel Group and Camel Power (Malaysia) Co., Ltd., and introduced in detail the
construction and investment benefits of Camel Power (Malaysia) Co., Ltd. in Malaysia. Xue Shihua
said Camel power (Malaysia) Co., Ltd. was the first multinational production base of Camel group.
It was established in phase III of China Malaysia Industrial Joint Industrial Park in guantan, Pahang,
Malaysia in 2017. The project includes battery production plant and recycling plant, and has
advanced battery laboratory. It is estimated that the annual output of batteries will be 5 million
and the total investment will be 150 million US dollars. The commissioning of Camel Power
(Malaysia) Co., Ltd. will bring a series of investment benefits to Malaysia, including providing
about 600 employment opportunities, improving the value of human resources, infrastructure
improvement, investment in advanced technology and providing optimized environmental
protection system.
