Failure Analysis Engineer
This jod is posted by Camel Energy GmbH, the arm of Camel Group Co., Ltd. , with headquarter in Düsseldorf.We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced failure analysis engineer for Lithium-ion battery analyzing join our team. The failure analysis engineer will be responsible for making analysis plan, coordinate analytical resources, and take lead battery analyzing (Low voltage pack, module, cell)
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Independently handle basic function tests, differential tests, full function tests and other related tests on PCB level

  • Investigate the root causes of failure at system level from pack to cell, follow up the reliability investigation of electrical components on PCB level and support to complete the 8D reports.

  • Provide feedback with sustainable solutions for corrective actions.

  • Concern about customer complaints, optimize the analysis progress according to customer concerns.

  • Define the workflow of the failure analysis team, collaborate with QA departments, responsible for after-sales products for European customers.

  • Search relative resources to keep the failure analysis going smoothly.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

  • Completed (electrical) technical vocational training.

  • Proficiency in database management and reporting

  • Exceptional technical analysis skills in electrical vehicle field, relevant experience in battery testing, in the electrochemical, BMS, IT or automotive industry.

  • Familiarity with risk analysis (failure rates/times)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Work well under pressure

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to use software such as Microsoft office, Minitab, etc, and basic statistical analysis and      reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of typical quality control tools and methods

  • English language skills, fluent in written and spoken, Chinese is advantage.

  • Enjoy working in an international team.

  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and confident demeanour
