Founded in 1980, Camel Group Co.,Ltd. is specialized in the R&D, production, sales, recycling and service of advanced batteries. We have established 8 intelligent production bases, 6 overseas offices around the world, and has a "trinity" R&D center to create two circular systems for green lead-acid batteries and new energy lithium batteries, actively promoting new energy transformation and upgrading and internationalization strategies, and has initially formed a global "8+6+3+2" layout.

Product and Service

We develop, produce and sell lead-acid batteries, recycled lead products and low-voltage lithium batteries, and also provide logistics distribution and recycling services.

Technology and Equipment

The group has the world’s advanced battery production lines, technical processes, waste battery recycling and regeneration system, a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, a national circular economy technology center, a CNAS accredited testing center, an academician workstation, a postdoctoral research workstation, a Hubei Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center and other scientific and technological innovation platforms. As of the first half of 2023, Camel Group has applied for a total of 1,735 patents.

Scale and Strength

The group's lead-acid battery production capacity is 36 million kVAh, used lead-acid battery disposal and utilization capacity is 860,000 tons/year, new energy lithium battery production capacity is 2GWh/year, and lithium battery recycling and processing capacity is 100,000 tons/year. The production capacity, sales volume and market share of the low voltage automotive lead-acid batteries have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Camel is also the leading recycled lead company in China.

Governance Structure

In June 2011, the group was listed on the A-share main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, referred to as Camel Shares, code 601311. Camel has built 31 subsidiaries, including 24 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 7 holding subsidiaries.
